How to Make Banana Pancakes

Pancakes  evolved to be distinctively a Sunday morning or overnight-guest breakfast fare. Since they are easy to make and there are so many different ways to prepare them, pancakes are a favorite’s hearty food to cook for a crowd, breakfast or as snack

The famous William Shakespeare loved pancakes so much, that he often mentioned pancakes during his famous play’s

INGREDIENTS

1  cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon  sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 shakes of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon  vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinammon. In a separate bowl,  stir in egg, milk, vegetable oil, vanilla and bananas and mix.

2. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture. NOTE:batter will be slightly lumpy.

3. Heat a lightly oiled  frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the pan, using approximately 1/3 cup for each pancake. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides; serve hot.

This is especially great for a healthy start
